The time to erect a package utilizing a local framing crew of 4 or more working a full day depends on the square footage and complexity of the roof design.
A typical 2,200 sq. ft. package generally requires 5-days from a finished foundation to dry-in.
A more complex Country French typically required 20-days, which includes interior wall installation by the crew.
Whether the erection of the package is a simple home or a complex home, the procedure is basically the same.easier and faster than "stick built", but panelized is considered by appraisal to be "stick built".
1. Concrete pad is poured. Plumbing is in place.
2. Plumbed & braced.
3. Extending 8 ft. panels with knee walls to raise ceiling heights. Most knee walls are now eliminated to reduce erection time; as one wall panel is fabricated to the required height. Gang-nailers at all wall intersections.
4. Installation of piggyback trusses. Hurricane straps on all main roof trusses or rafters.
5. View of left side of home. Saddle trusses will complete roof structure.
6. Erection and placement of saddle trusses. All walls are braced.

8. Decking the house.
9. Notice rafters in sitting room.
10. Installation of soffit materials for venting home.
11. Styrofoam in preparation for stucco being applied. Architectural shingles being installed.
12. Mudding for stucco complete.
